South Korea Counsellor

About the Role We are looking for a motivated and experienced South Korea Education Counsellor to guide students interested in pursuing higher education in South Korea. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the Korean education system, university admission processes, and student counselling.

• Bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience in South Korea education counselling.
• Good knowledge of South Korean universities, courses, admission procedures, and student visa requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Nepali.
• Korean language knowledge will be an advantage.
• Strong follow-up, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Customer-focused attitude with strong attention to detail.

• Counsel students regarding study opportunities in South Korea, including universities, programs, scholarships, and intakes.
• Assess students' academic backgrounds, career goals, and eligibility.
• Provide accurate guidance on university and course selection.
• Assist students throughout the application and admission process.
• Guide students regarding required academic and financial documents.
• Provide guidance on the South Korea student visa application process.
• Maintain regular communication and follow-up with students and their parents.
• Coordinate with Korean universities and relevant stakeholders when required.
• Maintain accurate student records and update application status.
• Support promotional activities, seminars, education fairs, and student events.
• Stay updated on changes in Korean universities, admission requirements, scholarships, and visa policies.

• Experience working with Korean universities or education consultancies.
• Knowledge of D-2 and D-4 student visa processes.
• Experience in student recruitment, admissions, or international education.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media is an advantage.
